Traditional metal or ceramic are considered better for thermal conductivity, but also bear design and manufacturing drawbacks. Also, high thermal conductivity of certain metals is often wasted in designs where the heat transfer was not conduction limited.
ThermoFlux Polymers are able to evenly distribute heat generated internally from a device and eliminate “hot spots”. These are designed to transfer heat away from sensitive electronic & electrical components to increase service life and improve performance. The compounds have high thermal conductivities in comparison to conventional thermoplastics.
